    Those seeking to have Wallace as the county seat did not recognize the Governor’s decision. So, those officials who lived in Wallace met in Wallace and those who lived in Sharon Springs met in Sharon Springs, sometimes on the same night of the week.  Both refusing to recognize work of the other.
